Going (Bright) Green
Yesterday, Turk stayed home with the kids while I went to get the oil changed in my car. Since oil changes usually take a little while, I decided to bring along my laptop to get some writing done. I threw on the first hat I could find, threw my laptop in its bag, and headed out the door. It wasn’t until I arrived at the mechanic that I realized I looked like a total idiot.

Does this mean that I’m going bright green? It would have been even better if I had pulled up in a bright green VW Beetle.
A little while ago I talked about Going (Sorta) Green. I hate to admit that I still cannot remember to use my reusable grocery bags. I put them in my car once, and forgot them once I got to the grocery store. I did remember them once, only to bring them into my house and forget to put them back in my car. The reusable grocery bags have become a fun play toy for the kids, though! They like to go grocery shopping through the cupboards and fill up their sacks. Hey, at least someone in the house is Going Green.
I must apologize for this fairly lame post. I am still dog tired and can’t seem to catch up on sleep. *Yawn!* Hopefully I’ll snap out of it soon.
